It consists of both registered and unregistered files. Registered files were originally arranged alphabetically within broad subject groupings (commodities; government - state and Australian; companies, organisations and individuals; industries; administration). They were also given a single running number which seems unrelated to the subject groupings. Registered files were also arranged into active (A files), semi-active (S files) and dead (D files). Relatively little duplication of numbers occurred between A, S and D files so they have been sorted into one numerical sequence. Unregistered files have been included at the end of the numerical sequence. (18/196-262). 67 boxes.
