The International Division was established in 1989 by the Department of State Development. (1)The main functions of the Division were to: actively seek foreign investors in sectors and industry relevant to the New South Wales Economic Strategy; facilitate investor’s enquiries through an Investor Enquiry Service; and to advise the Government on International economic and business matters and monitor New South Wales’ trade performance and activities. (2)
The International Division was abolished when the Department of State Development itself was abolished. (3)
