The Royal Australian Chemical Institute Guide to Records documents and contextualises the records of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, the qualifying body in Australia for professional chemists and a learned society promoting the science and practice of chemistry in all its branches. The collection includes records from the various state branches and specific divisions of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute.
The Guide is the output of a research database. It was published online by the Australian Science and Technology Heritage Centre in 2004. In 1986 the Australian Science Archives Project began to assist the Royal Australian Chemical Institute with the documentation of their records. This work was continued by the Australian Science Archives Project, and later the eScholarship Research Centre.
The collection was listed by Gavan McCarthy, John Spink, Helen Morgan and Bill King.
