Full description

This series consists of black and white photographs which appear to be originals. Some are mounted. Although the photographs are undated they appear to date from 1914 - the year that the School Travelling Hospital was instituted. The photographs were possibly taken or commissioned by the Department of Public Health, and may have formed part of a larger project of photographing health services to children as contemporary photographs exist for other health services. Some of these images were used in the Report of the Minister for Public Instruction for the Year 1915.

The photographs include children being vaccinated; medical staff; and the interior of the Dental Clinic.
