These consist of plans, elevations, sections and details of public buildings such as police stations, court houses, gaols, government offices and schools.

Aperture card copies of many of these are available.

A full listing of the following plans is available; they have been indexed in a card index available in the Western Sydney reading room.

Please note two access directions apply to this series of plans:

AD28 Public Works and Services - Records relating to security buildings (prisons etc.) - Closed to Public Access

AD 2400 Public Works and Services - Records not covered by AD 29 - Open to Public Access

The plans located at SR Plan Nos.2334-421 were archival estrays which have been transferred to State Records from the Mitchell Library.
