The DNA Review Panel could, however, recommend to the Court of Criminal Appeal that a review of the conviction be commenced. The Review Panel stemmed from the ability for offenders to challenge their conviction under the Crimes (Appeal and Review) Act 2001 (NSW).The Innocence Panel ran from 2000-2007, DNA Review Panel 2007-2014. This series contains correspondence, annual and other reports, agendas and minutes of meetings, Panel appointments, budget, background information, reviews and briefing papers of the DNA Review Panel and Innocence Panel.
