Full description
Survey Mark Registers are lists of Survey Mark Numbers, noting to whom each number has been assigned and for what.
State Survey Marks are part of the State Control Survey Network and assist in underpinning the NSW Cadastral Framework - over 180,000 permanent ground marks. The State Control Survey provides information for activities including Mapping, Land Information System, Mineral Exploration and Extraction, Residential and Industrial Development.
Each register has pages ruled into columns. The left-side column has sequential numbers stamped in and next to the number is written the name of the body to whom it was issued. Other columns note size of lot, location, with some notes on purpose and ownership.
