Full description

This series is child welfare cards for residents at Thornbury Lodge. The cards are a record of offences and the resulting decision made by a Children's Court.

The cards all indicate that the child is to be sent to a 'place of safety'. The majority of the cards also have Thornbury Lodge written on the card and a small number have Bidura.

The name of the Children's Court is recorded at the top of the card. The courts range from Ashfield, Bankstown, Liverpool, Metropolitan Children's Court, Minda and Parramatta.

The cards record the following information: name of children's court, date, surname, given name, offence, decision of court, signature of court officer.

The cards are arranged in alphabetical order by name.
