Thornbury Lodge children's home opened in 1957 in the Sydney suburb of Baulkham Hills. (1)
In 1973 the 14 school aged female residents were sent to Karril Cottage and Thornbury Lodge became a pre-school centre for 30 children. (2)
In a later rearrangement of residential care units in 1977, Thornbury Lodge provided accommodation and care for babies. (3)
Thornbury Lodge closed in December 1979. (4)
