This series comprises volumes recording day and night reports for Thornbury Lodge.
The reports are arranged in chronological order. They are written by the officer in charge during the day or night shift. Each report provides the number of admissions, discharges and the number of children at the home during the shift. The reports also record some children's names along with observations of their health, treatment and medication.
Each day and night report is signed and dated by the officer in charge.
