This series consists of press releases from the office of Pam Allan during her time as Minister for the Environment between April 1995 and April 1999.

The press releases are arranged in chronological order and were originally held in ring binder folders. Several of the folders included an index to the press releases at the front listing the date of the press release and the topic covered.

The press releases relate to matters in the Minister's portfolio and consist of policy announcements, announcements regarding events organised by departments overseen by the Minister for the Environment, recent successes within the portfolio and significant research findings by the Environment Protection Authority or National Parks and Wildlife Service.
