The Office of the Minister for Environment was established as an administrative office on 25 March 1988. (1)
The Office of the Minister for Environment carried out the Minister for Environment's directions with regard to the responsibility for the protection of the environment including parks and gardens and natural flora and fauna, waste disposal, pollution control and water boards.
The Office was removed as an administrative office under administrative changes on 20 September 1989. Any references to the Office were removed and replaced with the Minister for Environment. (2)
