This series consists of papers from the office of Pam Allan, Minister for the Environment under the Carr government between April 1995 and April 1999. The papers are arranged in chronological order and contain details of official visits and the attendance by Pam Allan at events in her capacity as Minister for the Environment. Included in the series are speeches, briefing notes, itineraries and travel plans. The types of events attended by the Minister include conferences, Australia Day and Sorry Day events, events pertaining to the portfolio of the Minister, events marking policy launches, announcements and Ministerial achievements, plaque unveilings, openings and meetings with community and industry groups. Invitations, pamphlets and publications associated with the events can also be found in this series. Speeches made by the Minister in Parliament can also be found in this series.
