This series consists of an admission register for the special school at Brush Farm at Eastwood.

Details recorded vary over time, but always include registration number, date of admission, pupil's name, pupil's age, religion, date of leaving school, and occupation entered upon (if any) upon leaving (e.g. domestic service, mental hospital, returned to parents). Date of birth and IQ [Intelligence Quotient] were also periodically recorded. Further details of the type of work the pupil entered into upon leaving the school were recorded between 1939 and 1946, and from 1948 the dates the student began each class (e.g. English, maths) began to be recorded, although the relevant columns were always available in the register.

The register appears to have been commenced in October 1932 but contains retrospective entries dating back to 1923. From this register pupils were last admitted in October 1970.
