This volume comprises the calculations and plans for the estimate of the northern railway approach for the Sydney Harbour Bridge from Bay Road Station to North Sydney Station. Attention is given to the tunnels, bridges and trackwork, excavation and railway stations.

The volume is signed by J.J.C. Bradfield, Chief Engineer, Sydney Harbour Bridge but is not dated.

Neither the volume nor the individual plans are dated. In estimating a date for this volume it has been assumed that the costings were complete before the call for tenders for the arch bridge in 1923.
