The data comprise the results of conventional open-hole wireline measurements acquired to characterise formation fluid content, fluid chemical characteristics, and reservoir properties, and to support borehole correlation and petrophysical interpretation. Provided products include the MDT site testing parameters and processed log curves with basic quality control, depth matching, and consistent curve naming/units. The Data Driven Discoveries program is a $30.9 million initiative led by Geoscience Australia in collaboration with the Geological Survey of Queensland. The program aims to re-examine decades old seismic data and collect new geoscientific data to identify opportunities for resource discovery in the underexplored Adavale Basin in south-central Queensland. This program supports the Australian Government’s Net Zero Plan by researching opportunities for hydrogen storage and seeks to improve understanding of the basin’s minerals, energy and groundwater potential.
