Brief description
EMIS is a relational database and data management system. It was developed by Intersect Australia in partnership with the University of Sydney as a systematic means of organising research data and associated metadata within the field of environmental metabolomics. EMIS allows researchers to upload raw data, add descriptive and administrative metadata to datasets, search across multiple datasets, and associate publications with existing datasets, among other functions. EMIS contains records of experiments in the field of plant metabolomics. The majority of experiment data within EMIS includes gas chromatography mass spectrometery instrument data (GC-MS data) in NetCDF and .qgd format, and summary data in .CSV format.
