The Wastewater Treatment Facilities dataset presents the spatial locations, in point format, of all known wastewater treatment facilities within Australia.Lineage
Statement: This dataset was revised in June 2026. It is an updated version of the Wastewater Treatment Facilities dataset last published in 2016. In June 2026, new facilities were added and existing facilities validated using the most currently available and authoritative source data. Where address data was not available for a feature, the ArcGIS World Geocoding Service was used to populate address data. In the event that location data was not available for a feature, the location of the feature was sourced using Esri World Imagery. Facilities that are decommissioned or were listed as 'historical' in the source data have been assigned a Non-Operational status.text: westlimit=112.00; southlimit=-44.00; eastlimit=154.00; northlimit=-9.00; projection=GDA2020 (EPSG:7844)
