Brief description

The The University of Sydney Central Asian Programme (USCAP) Website supports the activities of USCAP, and provides context and a point of access for the USCAP Archive at the University of Sydney.  USCAP was established in 1992 to support research into the archaeology of Central Asia. Under the auspices of USCAP three collaborative archaeological programmes are currently in progress in Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and China.  Information about these programmes, and further information regarding volunteering on the programme, selected publications and researcher details are available via this website.
