The Tasmania Project was established by the Institute for Social Change at the University of Tasmania to understand how Tasmanians are experiencing and adjusting to the social, political and economic responses to COVID-19. The project aims to support immediate and longer term social and economic decisions by providing useful, evidence-based and timely information, and share Tasmanian residents' experiences and ideas through this critical period and beyond. This dataset is for General Survey #1 (TTP1), which was open from 20 April - 10 May 2020 and had a final sample size of 1159 respondents. The survey consisted of ten sections: 1. Adjusting to life in the time of COVID-19, 2. Connections and support, 3. Staying informed, 4. Official responses to COVID-19, 5. Concerns, 6. The future in Tasmania, 7. Housing, 8. Work and employment, 9. School and learning, 10. Demographic information.Data time period: 2020-04-20 to 2020-05-10
