Brief description

Flowerdale sensor - part of the Tasmanian Hydro-Meteorological Sensor Web. Observed Phenomenon: Rainfall. This dataset collection is produced using a RIMCO 7499 tipping bucket rain gauge. This sensor is one of four sensors located in North-West Tasmania that is being used by CSIRO Ecosystem Sciences to monitor forest water use. The other sites are Milabena, Preolenna and West Takone.

Notes

This dataset currently refers to data access services that are based at the CSIRO (www.csiro.au URLs). As part of the project to make these datasets discoverable via RDA, the data access services will be moved to TPAC. When that work is completed (scheduled for February 2012) the URLs and any other relevant information will be updated to reflect the new location of the data access services.
