Brief description

Rabbit Marsh rainfall sensor - part of the Tasmanian Hydro-Meteorological Sensor Web. Observed Phenomenon: Rainfall. This dataset collection is produced using a RIMCO 7499 tipping bucket rain gauge. Rabbit Marsh is private land kept as a nature reserve. The site is within close proximity to Ben Lomond so it provides a good comparison with the weather station data collected at that location.

Notes

This dataset currently refers to data access services that are based at the CSIRO (www.csiro.au URLs). As part of the project to make these datasets discoverable via RDA, the data access services will be moved to TPAC. When that work is completed (scheduled for February 2012) the URLs and any other relevant information will be updated to reflect the new location of the data access services.
