Research Project
Full description The aim of the project is to enhance the reliability of sorghum head counting, head stress detection and canopy and organ detection across various environments and domains, addressing the challenges of data scarcity for sorghum as well as the higher diversity and variety of sorghum. The resulting algorithms and models to accurately cluster raw sorghum image data, detect, segment and quantize stress in sorghum and reliably classify sorghum organs and canopy will improve the present capabilities of sorghum phenotyping and help to identify optimal cultivation environments and stress conditions.
