During his long career in social and political surveying, Irving Saulwick assembled a comprehensive archival collection. From 1971 to 1994 he was undertook polls for The Age and the Sydney Morning Herald. The polls tracked voting intention and the standing of political leaders, and also canvassed a wider range of issues, exploring attitudes to issues that were dominating public discourse at the time. While the collection comprises mostly paper-based records there are also digital files, including the microdata for many of the surveys, and audio-visual items. The collection comprises approximately 8 linear metres of records and covers the period c.1966-c.2010.Data time period: 1966 to 2010
