This paper-based dataset includes computer printouts of data collected by Irving Saulwick for polls conducted for The Age newspaper. The polls tracked voting intention and the standing of political leaders, and also canvassed a wider range of issues, exploring attitudes to issues that were dominating public discourse at the time. The records consist of computer printouts in 34 bound volumes of continuous feed paper, along with unbound bundles of continuous feed paper and approximately 186 bound volumes of A4 computer printouts, 1971-1999.
