This paper-based dataset consists of bound copies of reports based on surveys conducted by Irving Saulwick, 1966-2001, mostly dating from 1987-2001, along with copies of bound reports based on studies 2001-2006 and a collection of loose papers - reports from the 1980s and 1990s. The Saulwick polls, often collected for The Age newspaper, tracked voting intention and the standing of political leaders, and also canvassed a wider range of issues, exploring attitudes to issues that were dominating public discourse at the time.
