Brief description

Following my undergraduate degree in Biopharmaceutical sciences (Leiden University, 1994-1998), I followed my interest in engineering by conducting my PhD at Delft University of Technology (the Netherlands, 1999-2003). I then was awarded a scholarship to initiate Lab on a Chip research at the University of Tasmania, where I have worked in the Australian Center for Research on Separation Science (ACROSS); 2003-2011 in the School of Chemistry and since 2011 in the School of Pharmacy.
