Full description This project was established to document the involvement of the Australian Science Archives Project (ASAP) and subsequent organisations with the records of Nancye Perry. The records cover family linkages back to the nineteenth century and document the life of science-trained women in the twentieth century. Her papers include various biographical sources, educational and professional notebooks, correspondence and photographs. Of particular note is the field work she did for Sir Frank Macfarlane Burnet on mosquitos in the Mildura region that were the suspected vectors of Murray Valley encephalitis. Prior to 2007, this small collection was processed and transferred to the University of Melbourne. In 2007 it was decided that this collection will be transferred to a permanent home at the State Library of Victoria.
