The kinds of statistics kept by the Committee in the course of their work include: number and gross tonnages of vessels berthed each month at various ports; amount of trade at ports divided by import tons, export tons, transhipment tons; monthly numbers of ships with tonnage at certain ports destined for overseas, interstate or intrastate; names and numbers of intrastate, interstate, overseas and Navy and Army vessels together with vessels under repair at ports on particular days; cargo capacity, and number of berths at various ports and licensed coal hulks in New South Wales.
