This is certificate number 7764. The "Comet" was constructed of wood, propelled by screw, with a registered tonnage of 56 tons. It was authorised to carry 300 passengers, including crew, when navigating a harbour, river or lake, and 20 passengers at sea. The certificate was limited to the Clarence and Richmond Rivers.
