Full description

These are office copies of town and village maps, and occasionally environs. They contain information concerning land status within specific urban boundaries. Most maps contain detailed references to land designated "portions" and "allotments". The maps are annotated to show changes in information with respect to land status and tenure and are cancelled when new editions noting these changes are published.
