NRS-734 | Copies of letters sent concerning references from the Building Surveyor

Full description

This volume contains press copies of letters relating to buildings considered unsafe or unsatisfactory by the City Building Surveyor and thus referred by him to the Board under clauses 27 and 29 of the Act. They consist of: press copies of the information filled in on printed slips, the originals of which were sent to the City Building Surveyor and the full copies of which are filed in the series References from the City Building Surveyor, 1879-96 (4/6879-85); and letters sent to the City Building Surveyor, government departments and individuals regarding references.

Each letter has been given the number of the reference to which it relates.
