This volume, which was kept by Bourn Russell, junr., Harbour Master at Twofold Bay (Eden), comprises three sections: a daily diary of events (noting activities of the Harbour Master, arrival and departure of vessels, weather, wind, etc.), 19 August 1860 to 30 April 1873; list of vessels arriving and departing, from 19 August 1860 to 6 March 1869 (noting date, name of ship, name of master, tonnage, from whence and to hence); and a daily record of oil used in the lighthouse, 24 May 1862 to 30 June 1873.

The volume is bound in parchment, and one cover has a line drawing, presumably by Bourn Russell, of the lighthouse.

Custody History
This volume was an archival estray transferred from the Mitchell Library. It was donated to the Mitchell Library by Mrs E. Tucker.
