This volume contains typescript copies of Cabinet decisions re control over prices, rents and goods. It includes a review of reasons for the failure of previous controls, and the consequences of having ineffective controls.

Also contained in the volume are: copies of Cabinet decisions; minutes and agenda; a circular from the Premier to Ministers about air-raid precautions; papers on salvage, tram and bus traffic, military leave to government employees, co-operation between State and Federal governments. A number of circulars about overseas air-raid precautions, and some from Britain are included.
