Prior to the Superannuation Act, 1916, public servants were required to maintain life assurance policies and submit evidence to their department as to the policy's currency. This volume contains details of the officer's name, position, salary, amount of assurance, where assured, number of policy, date policy deposited with the Department, premiums payable and eventual disposal of policy. The above dates record first payment of premiums; notations of premiums paid cover the period 1897-1919.(7/10674). 1 vol.
