In 2026 an additional letter book was donated by the Lake Macquarie Family History Group Inc. as an archival estray. This volume duplicates some of the entries in the main run of letter books already held for 1949. There appears to be no duplication for later entries. The volume only includes copies of correspondence with the Attorney General, Auditor General, Colonial Secretary, Colonial Treasurer, and Principal Superintendent of Convicts.The letter book is dated from January 1849 to November 1871. 28 Jul 1828-28 Apr 1832 (ML A1397-98), 20 May 1842-23 Jun 1846 (1/3196; microfilm copy SR Reel 2739), 27 Jun 1846-23 May 1873 (4/5693-94). 5 vols.

In 2026 an additional letter book was donated by the Lake Macquarie Family History Group Inc. as an archival estray. This volume duplicates some of the entries in the main run of letter books already held for 1949. There appears to be no duplication for later entries.
