In 2026 an additional letter book was donated by the Lake Macquarie Family History Group Inc. as an archival estray. This volume duplicates some of the entries in the main run of letter books already held for 1949. There appears to be no duplication for later entries. The volume only includes copies of correspondence with the Attorney General, Auditor General, Colonial Secretary, Colonial Treasurer, and Principal Superintendent of Convicts.

The letter book is dated from January 1849 to November 1871. Included as a loose folio inside the front cover is a "Roll of attorneys admitted to practice at the Supreme Court of NSW, entitled to appear at the District Court of the Metropolitan and Coast District holden at Windsor" dated circa 1859-1899.
