1. The compilation of this report was requested by the Chief Secretary and Minister for Administrative Services when the Authority was constituted.
The report deals with:
- The location for a casino near the City of Sydney.
- The required size and style of the casino.
- The development required to take place in conjunction with the establishment of a casino, such as the development of a hotel or other complex of which a casino is to form part; and
- Such other matters relating to the requirements for a casino as the Authority considers relevant.
2. This booklet invited: expressions of interest for the establishment and operation of the temporary casino to be followed bythe permanent casino and any other related development; and applications for a casino licence.
The booklet provides information on the proposed site and on the procedure for applying.
