This series represents a 5% random sample of Child Care Centre Licence Files. These Centres are mainly pre schools and kindergartens, administered either as profit or non-profit making institutions. The files include applications and approvals for licences for each centre, licence applications and approvals for persons in charge of the centres, reports of periodical and annual visits by District Officers, correspondence, revocation of licences, extension and cancellation of permits, and inspection notes from the Fire Prevention Department and the Board of Fire Commissioners.
