Survey Co-ordination files contain the records relating to surveys conducted to identify Proclaimed Survey Areas under the provisions of the Survey Co-ordination Act 1949. The files are primarily administrative records, including the requests for surveys, reports and plans created, positioning of control marks, sketch plans, field book observations and references. the files are arranged by geographical area. Each area can include files on assets such as pipelines. The records also document specific projects such as surveys undertaken as part of an Unemployment Scheme.
