The series consists of administrative documents and discussion papers from the McDonell Commission of Inquiry into Electricity Generation and Planning in NSW .
The records include an index of witnesses, original typed transcripts of public hearings, lists of venues, inspections of schemes, expert assessments and post-Inquiry procedures which were considered by the Commission after the closing date for submissions.
Some records which pre-date the establishment of the Commission provide background information on the Inquiry.
The records have been gathered in folders which are arranged by sequential number and also feature a separate ‘A’ number.
