The slides held in this series are of various tourist sites and destinations across New South Wales which were used in promotional literature and advertising campaigns.
The images include high-quality 35mm slides and large format transparencies and photographic stills.
The images are categorised into broad geographical regions, broken down by location and subject matter such as History and Heritage, Nature, People and Lifestyle, followed by more specific location information and the names of photographers where available.
The slides are housed in sleeves holding up to 24 slides. Each sleeve is numbered sequentially as an item and titled by geographical region, subject and location. The slides within the sleeve are numbered separately, occasionally with location and photographer details added. Large format transparencies are included in the arrangement within their own sleeves.
The images include the 2000 Sydney Olympic stadiums, local life in Broken Hill and scenes from the Hunter Valley and the Sapphire Coast.
