These volumes record operational messages received and sent from Sydney Metropolitan Control Centre. The Metropolitan Operational Control Centre was staffed by volunteers and managed by Metropolitan District Operational Officers. The volumes contain a brief record of operational messages received through control phones for which action is necessary. The log books are arranged in chronological order and record the date, time, and the signing in and out of officers.
