Full description
This series consists of volumes of medical officers' notes regarding medical complaints and treatments administered to residents of Brush Farm Infants Home at Eastwood, which in August 1980 became a home for the temporary residential care of handicapped children, mainly for respite care. The volumes in this series cover both periods.
Details recorded include date, name of resident, complaint, and treatment. The entries are handwritten, and include only brief factual notes with regard to the description of the condition, and the treatment received (e.g. name or type of medication). Brief notes as to whether the condition needed later review were also included, or if the resident required hospitalisation or tests.
The volume covering the date range 1969 to 1976 does not record the patient's complaint rather their date of birth is recorded in this column.
