This series consists partly of signed minute books, and partly of agenda and report books, for the Sydney Opera House Trust's Programme Committee.

The minute books record discussions and recommendations made during Committee meetings, dealing with proposals for future programming, events and performances. They also deal with budget proposals, bookings of performance spaces, entrepreneurial activities, and policies relating to the use of space within the Opera House.

The agenda and report books include minutes and agendas of the Programme Committee meetings, along with correspondence relevant to issues discussed in the meetings, and reports submitted to the Committee, dealing with subjects such as finances, attendances at performances, bookings, and proposed programmes, performances and events.

The series includes a signed minute book which also covers minutes from the Cultural Programme Committee, which was the predecessor of the Programme Committee.
