This series contains the records of the Herbage Plant Liaison Committee. The Committee advised the government on the orderly introduction of new herbage cultivars into commercial agricultural use. This work was coordinated with the registration authority and Herbage Plant Liaison Committees in other states to ensure rules and procedures were followed.
The Committee operated within the division of Plant Industry/Industries in the Department of Agriculture.
The records contain the minutes and papers of the Committee.
