Full description
Dates of death and of inquisition, name of deceased, circumstances and cause of death are included. Each verdict is signed by the coroner and members of the jury. In some cases for Buckinghamshire, and in all cases for Cumberland, depositions are also included.
The Buckinghamshire inquests are chiefly for Hobart Town: Thomas Connelley, James Minnifee, Samuel Sudick, George Morgan, John Lawrence, Owen Clarke, John Johnson, John Faulkner, John Taylor, Humphrey Lynch, Bridget Riddle, Mary Smith, Ann Taylor, Isabella Williams and Frances William, Richard Burrows, Patrick Duff, Ann McDermott, Thomas Richard Preston and Ambrose Aldridge.
The County of Cumberland records consist of papers for only four inquests: Joseph Hutton (Kissing Point), William Schoote (Richmond), William White (Liverpool), and a male infant of Samuel and Ann Powell (Melville).
