This series consists of the official, signed Minutes of the Building and Grounds Committee of Council of the University of Newcastle, from May, 1968 until the final pre-amalgamation meetings of the Committee in 1989, in one binder. The Committee, as its name indicates, was responsible to Council for matters of capital works and maintenance, ranging from the construction of new buildings to the provision of parking facilities. Included with the Minutes of the Committee itself are the Minutes of its Transport Services Sub-Committee (10th August 1973 - 3rd October 1986).
