Full description

This series consists of maps showing (and in some cases reports describing) the electoral districts of New South Wales as determined by the Electoral Districts Commissioners between 1893 and 1957. The maps have been produced by the Department of Lands and reflect the descriptions of electoral boundaries agreed upon by the Electoral Districts Commissioners.

The maps are contained in published volumes or consist of folded sheet maps that have been bundled together or enclosed in a file. The maps are arranged in chronological order.

In addition to the maps of each electorate, the series includes a copy of a 1904 publication showing diagrams of the subdivision of Australia into separate colonies from 1788-1863.
