Each program segment on tape has been given a reference number. The index of reference numbers is kept in hard copy and CD ROM formats [reference related NRS] and the index contains the name of the event, type of sport, date, and time in addition to other information. This series consists of DVCPro-50 master videotapes for the televised broadcast of the Official Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
The Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (SOCOG) was established under the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games Act, 1993 (Act No. 67, 1993).
The Committee’s primary role was to organise and stage the Games of the XXVII Olympiad in Sydney in 2000.
