This series consists of a booklet prepared for the sesquicentenary of Riley Street Infants School. The preface suggests that the booklet was produced by the Parents' and Citizens' Association and indicates that the school was to close at the end of the sesquicentenary year. The item is a duplicated history and contains photocopies of photographs and plans and a copy of a letter from a teacher (25 August 1888) requesting a rise in salary. In addition to the written history there is a chronology of school events and a list of Principals.Twp poems by Joan Glennie entitled Surry Hills Memories 1932-1938 and School Days Surry Hills 1932-1938 accompany the volume
